All my life I have been haunted by God.
 ~ Fyodor Dostoevsky

Dan Neil described Vincent Van Gogh as a “a raving, God-haunted lunatic most of the time and nobody’s favorite neighbor.”

I’m no Van Gogh, I’m not going to cut my ear off, and suicide is out of the question. Still, I get the God-haunted bit — I’ve been trying to shake Him for decades. I keep fleeing, and He just keeps showing up.

‘Might as well take some notes.

Thanks for your blog. It is very true in content and spirit!

I am Catholic and weekly blogger with the Huffington Post.
Recently I have lived twelve years in Assisi, Italy. Every day was such a gift!
I have just finished writing a new book:
The Love Letters: Saint Francis & Saint Clare Meet Pope Francis
It is all about the great heart of spirituality of Francis and Clare and the love, humility,
and grace they offer Pope Francis and us all!

I hope you can take a minute and look it over~!
I appreciate you sharing the book with our Catholic community!
You can see it in the book section of our web page: http://www.SilentStay.com
(We are a silent retreat center near Napa, California & Assisi, Italy.
Or you can find it on Amazon.
    Many thanks, yes many thanks!
Lots of Lenten and Easter Blessings,

Thanks so much for your comments and kind words, Bruce, and so sorry for the long delay in a response. I’m still trying to get my bearings in the blogging milieu.

I’ll be sure to check out your posts on Huffington, and I’ll look forward to tracking down your book — looks great! Also, next time I’m out Napa way, I’ll make plans to spend some time at your retreat center.

God bless you in your work and apostolate!

I so like your blogs and thank you. I would welcome you as a guest on Mary’s Touch, a radio show that honors Mary, Mother of God. Since it has been awhile since you have responded to Replies, I’m not counting on your immediate response. But, when you do see this message, please send a message to cheri@marystouch.org . We can chat and make a date for your recording on Mary’s Touch radio program. Blessing to you, Cheri Lomonte
